Teacapan at Dusk #1
60″ x 40″ acrylic on canvas
This painting was inspired by the birds of Teacapan, Mexico. At dusk, you can hire a boat to take you out to view a hundred species of birds that live in this sanctuary. The Roseate Spoonbills are elegant birds, bizarre in many ways. Their spoon-shaped bill allows them to sift easily through mud and there is a wild stroke of bright pink on their bodies.
